ACTORS HEADSHOTS
For those of you who've taken quite a few headshots in your
lives, you know that the ordeal can be stressful and often disappointing. Not any
more!
Just imagine having the photo just taken of you pop up on a
TV Monitor in front of you. Imagine critiquing and deciding
that the shirt you're wearing doesn't work or your hair would look better if it were combed differently right then and there. We take some more photos and
decide that the background is a little too dark . . . and with
a push of a button or two . . voila! Then we find out that you
look better from the left side than the right, and that when
you look away from the camera and then look quickly back into
the camera your eyes have more impact. We try a host of different methods,
walking to a mark, saying various things, thinking of various
emotions, different body angles, sitting, standing, reclining, leaning, telling jokes back and forth
. . . constantly shooting pictures. And as the session continues,
you see more and more photos you like.
Together we select all of the "maybe's", and print
proof sheets for you to take home the same day. As soon as you
decide which pictures you like, give us one day to retouch,
put your name and a border on the photos and make up a sample
8x10 of each and a CD for you to take to the duplicating lab.
PRICES
Why conserve on the number of images taken? - This is DIGITAL
and there is no film or proof sheet cost! I take approximately 50-75
pictures of each "set-up" or "look." That's the same as taking
two to three rolls each time you change! A set up usually consists of
a clothing change and often results in a change in the background and
lighting. When a customer calls and tells me what he or she
is looking for, it's pretty clear how many set-ups or how many
"looks" the actor or the agent is looking for. 99%
of the time it fits into one of the packages below.
We have special reduced prices for children. Please call for
prices if you have a child 13 years old or younger.

You'll see that the last column is "# Retouched."
This is a special incentive. It not only includes touching up
your photo, but also putting a border and your name on it as
well. This will save you the set up charges at the duplication
lab. Should you want additional photos retouched, the
cost per image for normal retouchng is $35.
MAKE-UP
Elliot wrote a book entitled Make-up for Photography (Studio
Press, 1991). Make up for men is included in your session fee.
